Gourmet food served fast.
In 2016 I was employed as a Business Development Manager at Suede Restaurant in NYC. At this time, the company was looking to expand, and two additional restaurants to their fleet. With everyones attention turned to the project closest to launch, I was gifted the pleasure of solely building out Caribbean Kitchen BK.
I inherited this project as just a logo, which was created by another designer. From this logo, I conceptualized a fast-casual Caribbean chain restaurant, that offered a wealth of different take-out options with a modern appeal.
To the investors, I presented weekly my market research for our target demographic. I designed proposals, packaging, brand guidelines, messaging/tone of voice, and even drafted the first set of floor plans for the interior design process.
After the branding was complete, going to the raw space and measuring out where things would go was the best part. I used SketchUp to show the contractors my intended design for the space and was able to see things come to fruition .
